Root River Canoe has 22 canoes for rent for private rentals, triathlons, or Root River Canoe Co. designated river routes! Root River Canoe Co. is owned and operated by Pete Kildahl with his wife, Raychel Christensen of Houston, Minnesota.

Pete Kildahl studied Recreation and Tourism at Winona State University, and Raychel studied Marketing, Graphic Design, and Web Development at Golden Gate University and Western. Pete and Raychel share a love for the outdoors and are excited to be able to offer canoe rentals, private hiking trails, and fishing to the community and local tourists.
